Steve Wozniak Autographed Floppy Disk
In 1976, Steve Wozniak designed a computer that is now known as the Apple I. His friend Steve Jobs convinced him that there was a market for the personal computer, and that they needed to try to sell the machine. On April 1, 1976, Apple Computer was created, and was incorporated on January 3, 1977 in Cupertino, California.
Apple Computer, Inc.’s name was changed to Apple, Inc. in 2007 to reflect is shifted focus towards consumer electronics. The company sells media players, smartphones, desktop, laptop and tablet computers, as well as consumer software products including the OS X and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media browser, the Safari web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and productivity suites.
Apple enjoys an almost unimaginable amount of brand loyalty, and is considered the world’s most valuable brand. It is the second largest information technology company in the world by revenue after Samsung Electronics.

The item in my collection is a 3.5” computer floppy disk that has been hand-signed by Steve Wozniak. Although he ended his full-time employment with Apple in 1987, Steve Wozniak remains an Apple employee and receives an annual stipend. In 2000, Steve Wozniak was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
